It's All In The Messaging

This week on Get Canceled, Sheryl and her guest hone in on the messaging being directed at kids today.  Whether it's a boy can be a girl or identifying as a furry, it is clear that the priority has become living one's true self despite whatever fallout may occur.  And the latest trend of this mindset is "going no contact", which is being promoted throughout Hollywood and social media.  As a result, people are viewing the world though a self-serving, narcissistic lens and cutting out any and all family members who don't agree.  The reality is, parents are flawed and grandparents are more than those insufferable boomers.  The complexities of human nature should not be dismissed just because it might be triggering.  That's why boundaries exist.  So let's start exercising a little emotional resilience because Carl Winslow had it right, Family Matters.
