Dangers And Delusions

This week on Get Canceled, Sheryl and the gang continue their discussion from last week, pulling back the curtain on the more sinister side of the gaming world.  It is undeniable that the internet has loose regulations for minors; and as a result, they have become over-exposed to content, sexual and otherwise, that is not suitable for an impressionable and developing brain.  We have yet to see the ramifications of such content on today's youth, coupled with their inability to tolerate the stresses of the real world.  Their retreat into virtual reality has left them confused about what is and isn't real.  And just because one hides behind an avatar does not mean they are safe from stalkers and other more nefarious predators.  Children are not growing up with a sense of what privacy is and unfortunately are incredibly willing to share personal information online which can put them in harms way.  Once again, it's real talk time at Get Canceled.
