Thin For The Win
It's a fair assessment that the majority of young women have struggled with the modern ideals of beauty, especially when it comes to weight. The images portrayed in the 90s and early 2000s of stick thin models coupled with the fat-free craze sent a generation spiraling. We are experiencing something similar today as social media facilitates the advancement of filters and air brushing to the likes we've never seen.
This week, Sheryl invites her guest to share about her anorexia. For those who don't know, anorexia is the most fatal mental illness and one of the most difficult to treat. This episode is an honest depiction of that struggle. Please, if you or a loved one is dealing with similar issues, get help. There is hope. Of course, it wouldn't be Get Canceled if Sheryl didn't add some absurdity to the show.
